Lilli and I decided that we'd go out for a healthy meal at Mickey D's last night. Her Daddy is laid up in bed recooperating from surgery, so I thought we'd have a little girl time.
Lilli loves to talk and loves to sing... we are so much alike. After singing about 5 or 6 songs to me, she began to count. She's counted to me lots in the past, so this didn't surprise me. This time, however, she reached 10 and kept going. She counted all the way to 14!!! I was so excited, I shouted "Woooo-hoooo, yeaaaaye Lilli! Great job!" Then Lilli responded, "Amen Mama!"
I thought I was going to die of laughter. I had to pull the van over to the side of the road!
Question: Is it really appropriate to laugh at your children during these moments? After I calmed down, I repeatedly told her how proud I was of her...

Have to tell you that I had the weirdest dream about you guys last night! I dreamt that I just decided to drive out to St. Louis (that's where you lived in my dream) and surprise you by staying for a week with Leila. Unfortunately, you weren't really excited about a surprise visitor and you had to go to work---I just didn't get what the big deal was! So...we just lived in your house while you were gone.
Weird, I know, but now I actually would like to drive east and come see you because you were so nice, even to uninvited guests!! Hope your sweet husband is getting better and LOVED the story about Lilli---funny girl!

Lilli is so smart. I am glad to hear that Danny is doing better and is home. I hope that you are able to get some rest as you are probably worn out from taking care of both of them. Don't you go getting sick either.
