We had several inches of snow blow through the early morning hours of the 26th... a lovely sight! A winter wonderland everywhere you looked. At last measure, I had 8+ inches in my front yard. Lilli, Daddy and the doggies had a ball playing in the snow. Lilli doesn't like to get cold or wet, so she didn't stay outside long, but long enough to make a snowman with her Daddy.

The snow stuck around for a few days, but was gone by mid-week. I am watching the weather forecast carefully the next few days... they say we may get another storm around Monday or Tuesday of next week. Unbelieveably, this area has seen a large amount of snow for 3 consecutive years. We are normally lucky to get a dusting. My poor HVAC system is on overload... and my electric bill will be 'painful' to open when it arrives in the mail.
Oh, by the way.... today is Thankful Thursday. Today, I KNOW I am thankful that I have a warm place to sleep at night... as well as our little HVAC system that keeps crankin' out the heat for us. I am also thankful for 'snow days' and snowmen! :o) What are you thankful for today?
