Ready for the Weekend!!

The sun is finally shining, the tornados in the south have subsided. My heart breaks for the families with so much loss and devastation, but I am very thankful that our community was again spared, after some very scary weather yesterday. With all the tornados spawning off in the south over the last few weeks, I am thankful...VERY THANKFUL!! Lilli's pre-school even closed early yesterday. I think everyone in North Carolina is on edge after the destructive tornados two weeks ago.

We have a very busy weekend ahead of us. After much preparation and planning, the Second Chance Prom has finally arrived! My company's Relay for Life team will be decorating the LCC gymnasium tonight... and the prom will happen tomorrow night, from 7-10. Come on out if you are in my neck-of-the-woods. All proceeds will benefit American Cancer Society!!

Prayer Request: My sister has several students that lost everything they own in the storms. One student in particular lost several family members too. Please pray for these young souls...as they try to rebuild their lives.
