We went to see Santa & boy was he tickled to see Lilli-bug! He called her by name and even knew what she wanted to Christmas. (He overheard me talking with her while we were standing in line!) It was AWESOME! Lilli's little jaw dropped to the ground when he held his open arms out to her and said, "Why, there's my Lilli!"
When she got on his lap, he asked her if she had been a good girl, to which she could only nod yes... she was still
speechless! He said, "Don't you want babydoll clothes? Isn't that what you'd like, Lilli? Clothes for your babies?" Lilli continued to nod... Then a gigantic grin spread across her face... the same that you see above! Santa then talked with her 'at length' about the manger scene that's been smocked on her dress. (Thanks cousin Mary for thinking of our girl! We love the dress!)
It was such a wonderful moment for Lilli! A memory she (and I) will treasure
FOREVER!
