A "Labor Day" of love...

Okay, I know... cheesey title! If you are a blogger, you understand the difficulty it can be to "title" your blog posts sometimes. I thought that the title fit well, since it was Labor Day weekend and we were surrounded by family members, ya know?? We had a great time at the bayhouse in Virginia Beach... The house is a very special place to me. It was my Grandmother's estate & I did so much "growing up" there... many, many life lessons learned, so much taught to me by my Nana (Great Grandmother) and Grandma. When I walk into the house, a feeling of peace sweeps over my soul. I can not begin to adequately express my love for this place... the way it smells, the noises that it makes in the middle of the night, the breathtaking view from the back porch looking out over the water. It's the most calming place I know... for me, one step away from paradise. Lilli was surrounded by a few of her cousins, two of her aunts and her Nana & Papa all weekend. They made such a fuss over her and Lilli LOVED it!! We LOVED it too! When I went to upload the pictures from the weekend, I had ONLY taken 154 pictures!!!
Also, my AWESOME sister Amy (a massage therapist) gave me a much need rub down!! How cool is that?? She worked on my back and neck & got all the little kinks out... it was great!!! BTW... Lilli's appointment with the pediatric gastro specialist went very well today. Her doctor says that there are no major complications and she should be just fine. He actually didn't find any scar tissue, as was found in the referral visit. He has changed up her medication and she will have to remain on it for a while. We will follow up with him in 4 months. Soooo, our prayers were answered! God is good... so good!
