Thankful Thursday

I have MANY things to be thankful for today!
First... my daughter's appointment with the pediatric gastro specialist revealed NO SCAR TISSUE! What a wonderful blessing God's given us! The specialist was confused and is not sure what Lilli's doctor felt during her initial referral exam. Lilli has to remain on medicine, but the idea of scar tissue or an unknown obstruction was really worrying us! Sooooooo, let me let out a big YEAaaayyeeE GOD! WoooOOO-HoooOOo!
Second... we had our 6-month post placement exam with our social worker Nicole yesterday. A 1-month "self report", 6-month post placement report and 1-year post placement report are all required. I truly wish I had taken a photo with Nicole & Lilli. I need to do that at her 12 month visit. (NOTE TO SELF: Take photo of wonderful woman that helped make adopting Lilli possible!) Nicole brought Lilli an adorable elephant. We have named her "Ellie".Lilli loves it and even slept with it last night. Thank you Nicole, not only for Lilli's elephant, but for always making us feel at ease. You're terrific!!!
Third... I slept like a bear last night. I haven't been sleeping well over the last few weeks. I've been averaging roughly 4 hours a night. I slept almost 9 hours last night & it was the BEST sleep ever!! Lilli slept thru the night too. Needless to say, when I woke up this morning I felt like a million bucks! How AWESOME is that???
