Our family cat unexpectedly passed away Monday morning. "Bo-Bo" (as Lilli called him) was actually Danny's cat. He adored Danny and the feeling was mutual. We don't know why he died. He wasn't old & that we are aware, he wasn't sick... he was 2 months shy of his 8th birthday. He was an indoor cat during the day, but would go out at night to "prowl"... he had a really charmed life! He ruled the roost in our home... and quickly accepted Princess Lilli into his palace!
I told Lilli that Bo-Bo got very sick and that she would be very sad, never getting to pat or hug Bo-Bo again. I then "tried" to explain that Bo-Bo was with Jesus. Y'all, she seemed to understand somehow?? When Danny later asked her where her kitty was, she simply said "Bo-Bo sick, Bo-Bo gone"... and then she pointed up to the sky.
We will miss you sweet boy! You were a wonderful kitty... and we love you!!

So sorry, Jen---it's hard to lose a pet you have loved. I know Jennifer Johnson lost a cat this year too---glad Lilli seems to understand!
I am so sorry. We have a "Coal" kitty that looks exactly like BoBo. I know what a loss it will be when we lose her. What?? Your anniversary does not get a whole blog page in itself. You are slipping Jen. ;o)
So sorry to hear about Bobo. She will be greatly missed. I am glad that Lilli understands and what a comfort she will be.

So sorry about your kitty. I know how you feel. My cat I had through high school passed away a few years ago. I cried for days!
