Okay, so I went a little overboard on taking pictures this past weekend. When I downloaded my photos, there were a total of 346!! That's just ridiculous!! Obviously, I can't post them all... only a handful & those posted will be spread out over a several days.
The first pictures I'd like to share with you are those from a morning we went to the beach. Typically, I don't like going up to the boardwalk when I'm visiting Virginia Beach... the traffic is soooooo bad. Very stressful... and I'm all about PEACE! Believe me, this time was no exception, even at 9:00 in the morning. I'd much rather sit on our family's back porch, looking out over Linkhorn Bay, sweet tea in hand... or taking a boat ride. Go ahead, call me a fuddie-duddie. I can handle it! :o) My Mom, who is a wonderful artist, has been wanting to paint a portrait of Lilli on the beach, so at her request, we headed to the beach to take a couple of snapshots. Thought they turned out well.
...at least until Princess Lilli decided she had had enough & was ready to go home and take a nap!

Oh- Lilli looks beautiful! She is a princess in that lovely white dress. Your Mom will be able to paint a gorgeous picture of her with those awesome photos you took. I am looking forward to MORE pictures of your weekend!
Any of the pictures (well maybe not the last one) would make a beautiful portrait. I know what you mean about taking lots of pictures. I don't even want to count how many I took this week while we were on vacation. Can't wait to see the next group of pictures.
