Thankful Thursday

So here's the story... (and I'm sticking to it!)
We went over to my brother and sister-in-law's house the other night for a little evening swim; something we often do. Lilli is doing so well, she adores the water! She is even jumping off the diving board... with her floaties on, of course.
Anyhow, we had gotten out of the pool and were drying off. Lilli was wrapped up in her monkey towel, looking fabulous... when she decided that she wanted to walk away. Her legs were wrapped up, so it made walking very difficult. She was unable to catch herself, so she just went face first into the cement. This is the second time in less than 2 weeks that she has "eaten the pavement"... so to speak. I realize she's a toddler, but my goodness!

Mederma, here we come!
Thankfully, she only got a fat lip and scratched up. It could be so much worse!! Her teeth are fine! She's healing quickly and KNOWS she now has an excuse to eat "Pop-Ice" all day long!!
Hope everyone has a terrific Thursday! What are you thankful for today?
p.s.- Zippy-Do-Dah is at the Veterinarian's office today. (Snip, Snip) We were originally told he couldn't be neutered until he was 6 month's old... but his doctor says "it's definitely time!" Apparently, surgery can be performed as young as 17 weeks and Zippy-Do-Dah is 19 weeks. They prefer for the kitten to be a little older, but in some cases it's "okay".
Prayers for a smooth surgery and recooperation... as well as Dr. Palmer's surgical wisdom! We love this little guy so much!!!

Oh, my! Poor Lilli! She seems to be taking everything quite well. It looks like you will be caring for 2 babies this weekend- with Zippy's surgery and all.
Pop-Ice, hmmm.... Lily hasn't even had that yet. Something new to try!
Love you guys-
