Danny's best friend is a 82-year young gentleman, by the name of "Jock". When Danny's Dad passed away 18 years ago, Jock took on a fatherly role for Danny. We try to get over to visit Jock and his wife, Mrs. Betty when we can, however don't visit them as often as we should. They are such gemstones!! Lovely folks... and Mrs. Betty makes the best Sunday supper you have EVER had!!! YUMMY! Collard greens to die for... If you're from eastern NC, you understand that a "good side" of collard greens is a delicacy! :o)
Sunday evening we had the good fortune of spending a little time with Jock and Mrs. Betty... and Lilli enjoyed every minute!! She even had a chance to play their piano, or rather bang on it. Funny how pictures can be deceiving, aye?? :o)
