Thought I'd share a few pictures from the weekend storm. We are finally thawing out!! We only had about 1 inch of snow, but the snow quickly turned to sleet and freezing rain, turning our little community into a Winter Wonderland. Then, I think we had got an additional inch of ice on top of the snow. It was truly beautiful, but so dangerous. Nobody was on the road and we certainly didn't venture out. We didn't take Lilli out in it on Saturday, because the sleet and freezing rain stuck around the majority of the day. Danny took her outside for a little while on Sunday, but it wasn't alot of fun. The ground was solid ice... super slippery. Lilli's words, "I no like this ice, Mama!" Well baby, I don't like it either!

Prayer Request: My brother fell on the ice in a gas station parking lot this past weekend. He had to go to the emergency room. They believe his sciatic nerve has pressure on it from the fall. Please keep him in your prayers. He's been in a lot of pain.Hope everyone had a great weekend. ((HUGS))

Lilli is so styling in her sunglasses and jacket. I can't say that I blame her. I no like this ice either. Hope everything is ok with your brother.

Oh Jenny, I am so sorry to hear about your brother. We will be praying for him. Love the winter pics too by the way.
