WOW...What a night!! Our van broke down last night, strangely after spending the day in the shop. I needed a new serpentine belt and idler pulley, so off to the shop it went. Apparently things weren't really "fixed"... and Danny, Lilli & I ended up on the side of the road last night.Thankfully, we were at the entrance of our neighborhood, which is such a blessing!!!
We were able to get in touch with the shop owner/mechanic, who told us to restart the car... but drive home slowly. Y'all, all the lights on the dashboard were lit up, and there were warning bells going off!! Believe it or not, we made it!

Today, I am thankful for a few things... First, I am thankful that my sweet husband (who remains cool in situations like this) was with me/us! Second, I am thankful that we weren't driving 55+ mph on the highway and lost our power steering, which was a big part of the problem! Third, I am thankful that we made it home safely, albeit 30 minutes past Lilli's scheduled bedtime. And last, but certainly not least, I am thankful for Lilli's "My Mary" who was able to come pick Lilli up for daycare this morning.
Thank you Mary... you are too good to us!!!
This is a "Thankful Thursday" indeed! Soooo much to be thankful to God for!! What are you thankful for today?
Have a wonderful day y'all... ((HUGS))
