Lillibug's First Halloween...

We had a wonderful time at our house on Halloween night! I came home and raced around to get the pumpkin decorated... & the front yard decorated with Lilli in tow! I have some lights that I drape across the front porch and bench, along with a black cat... Lilli was facinated with it all and was undecorating quicker than I could put it up!! Thankfully, Danny soon came home from work and I was able to finish...
Of course, Lilli was a bumble bee, therefore Danny and I told folks we were "bee keepers"!!Lilli had a wonderful time passing out pretzels, popcorn balls and pencils to all the neighborhood kids. I bet we had 125 -150 kids show up... our neighborhood is "trick-or-treat central"!! Lilli had the job of putting pencils in the bags or buckets and each time, she would giggle and clap for herself! We will definately make it a tradition that she helps passout the goodies each year... :o)Our neighbors - Marsha, Jerry & Ali, brought Lilli a "pumpkin bag" of goodies. On the bag, the pumpkin's nose lights up! It had 2 books, some candy and a pumpkin necklace in it. Lilli adores Ali! Thanks for the goody bag y'all! My friend Camille stopped by with her two kids - Roxie & Gabrielle. Gabrielle was the cutest little witch! Roxie opted out of dressing up this year, but she still got a little "sugar" from Lilli! Then as a surprise... we had another little bumble bee show up! Obviously, I had to take a picture of the two of them together... Aren't they sweet!?!!We are already looking forward til' next year!

Have a wonderful Monday everybody...

Bumble bees scared me until now. This one seems friendly. Even going so far as to give out treats if you come to her door. Keep doing what you are doing. Lilli is doing great and I can tell by the pictures that she is verrrrry happy.

Hey Jenny and Danny,

Lillie is adorable. I know how exciting it is to be experiencing all of these first holidays with our babies. I almost cried Friday thinking of this being Isabella's first Halloween. She was suppose to be Tinker Bell but she wouldn't wear it, so she was a hunter like her Dad. We will be posting pictures soon on our blog.

I'm afraid Nov. 8 isn't good for us. Ronnie is a big hunter and he hasn't been able to hunt the last 2 Saturdays. We volunteered at a AWAA adoption seminar one Saturday and I had to work last Saturday. If Sundays after church aren't good for you guys then maybe we can plan on getting together after the first of the year on a Saturday. Hunting season will be over then.
Take care.

God Bless,

Pat, Ronnie, and Isabella
