We had a terrific visit with the Casteen's - Isabella, Pat and Ronnie on Saturday, March 27th.
Ronnie and Pat were the first couple we met before we boarded the plane in Raleigh March 12th, 2008. All of us anxious and "flying by faith". This was a journey that we felt God was calling... Although we were seperated once we got to China, we were reunited in Beijing at the end of the journey. Landing on US soil at the same time, our daughters became US citizens together. We promised that every Gotcha Day (or a day around Gotcha Day) we would meet and celebrate.
We had a wonderful visit with them at the Wilmington Children's Museum. Sooooo much stimulation for a young child's brain. Couldn't believe all the activities they had!! After allowing the girls to play and use their imagination for about 3 hours... we went for lunch at Elijah's on the waterfront... Thanks Pat & Ronnie for treating us to a delicious meal... treating us to a delightful day!! Lilli would also like to thank Isabella for the Minnie Mouse from Disney World. She sleeps with her every night!!
