AWESOME!!!!!

My most favorite creative/interactive toy that Lilli owns is Fisher Price's Little People Nativity Set. I know I did a little "blogger preaching" about this toy last year too, so please bear with me. One word: AWESOME!!!!!

I haven't gotten all the parts and pieces to the set, but I'm working on it. Several pieces are no longer available. Ebay here I come!! :o) Lilli can sit for hours & play with it. She holds up each character, telling me who they are and what their role was in the story of the first Christmas. I would love to collect the whole set for Lilli. It'll be a prized possession of her's one day... already is!! I know I cherish it!

We went to Michael's this past weekend and bought a heart-shaped cake pan. Lilli wants to bake Baby Jesus a birthday cake this year. She said it had to be in the shape of a heart, because Jesus lives in her heart! You couldn't wipe the smile from my face all day and my heart still flutters thinking about it!

I have tried to ingrain strong Christian values in my child and as a parent I have succeeded. She REALLY gets it, she understands!! Don't get me wrong... we are still enjoying the commercial - "Santa Claus" - part of Christmas... but knowing my girl has a healthy understanding of what the true meaning Christmas is all about - WOW!!! WHAT A BLESSING!!
