Miss Lilli and I have decided is that we are NOT cut out to be gingerbread house builders!!
A few days ago, I had this bright idea that Lilli and I would make a gingerbread house. Since I didn't have the pans to make the walls, etc, I decided it would be best to purchase one of those "kits" - precut, break apart on the line, including the frosting, sprinkles and gum drops, no-brainer kits. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a gingerbread house kit at Walmart, but found a gingerbread village kit. Yeah, I said VILLAGE!!
Ummmmm, this is not something that I recommend for anyone... unless they have crazy gingerbread constructing abilities. Lilli and I had icing all over us!! WHAT A MESS!!! We'd have one house put together and the walls would fall in. We were frustrated & exhausted... yet giggling our heads off. We gave up after putting only 4 houses together. Four houses can make a village, right?
After decorating them, we knew they needed a base of snow. I didn't have any cotton balls and only cotton facial squares... LOL ...so we spent 10 minutes shredding cotton squares for snow.
Don't y'all think we deserve an A+ for effort??

Yea, after 2 years of ginger bread houses, we quit too. lol....looks like little one had fun though and at least you are laughing about it. Have a great Christmas, my dear friend.
