I did it! Not my best time, but it's okay. I said I'd run a 5K by my 40th birthday & did a month ahead of schedule! WOoooHoOoo!
Nothing better than having your precious family supporting you every step of the way.
Lainey got 2nd in her age division and Liesel placed 3rd. Aunt Jenny is sooooo proud of them!
My running partner did an outstanding job too!! I am so blessed to have her for my running accountability partner. She makes me want to better myself!! BRIDGET ROCKS!!!!
My sister Susan even volunteered to help with the race! (And helped her tired sister with a cold wet towel!) :o)
What a GREAT day!! Next time (and there will be many, because I'm hooked) I will do MUCH better!!
