Playing catch-up!!

I love working on my blog--- TRULY, I DO!! --- but lately I'm finding it increasingly difficult to squeeze it in to my daily/weekly schedule. As most of you know, I am running (almost nightly) to prepare myself for my first 5K in a few weeks. I'm almost ready... but not quite there. I am still finding myself walking over 1/4 of the 3.1 mile distance.
As a family, we are making the most of our hot summer days and evenings by playing in the sprinkler as much as possible, going to the pool, blowing bubbles, creating "driveway art" with sidewalk chalk (although the pavement is about 1000°+ F) & lots of biking.

Lilli boldly told me, "It's just tooooooo hottttttttt to play outside, Mama!" Silly girl!!!! When I was growing up, playing outdoors was all I ever did!!!
