Lilli and Hannah Reunion (Part 1)

We had a wonderful time in Virginia Beach this past weekend... & we wish we could have stayed several more days with our friends Becky & Hannah!! Becky is from the northern Virginia area and traveled with us to China when she adopted Hannah. Lilli & Hannah were both from the Zhangshu SWI in the Jiangxi Province... While in China, we affectionately called the 4 girls from Zhangshu SWI the "quads"! Here is a picture of the "quads" on our last day in Guangzhou... Lilli is in the red outfit and Hannah is in the darker pink outfit. It was so interesting to see these two toddlers interact with one another. There was definately a familiarity there! They stared at each other a lot at first, as if to say, "Hey, don't I know you?!"... and before long, they were chasing each other around and playing like they were best buddies!

We enjoyed a trip to the aquarium, but unfortunately didn't get to stay very long. I think the girls could've spent the whole day looking at the fish tanks. "Oooooh -Oooooh-Oooooh" echoed throughout the whole aquarium! Lilli and Hannah were facinated!! I love the picture below where they look like they are reaching out for the same thing in the sea turtle tank... Priceless!!
Lilli & Hannah had a little bathtime fun together before bedtime! Hey, what's a reunion trip, without taking a "tubby" together?Danny & I enjoyed spending time with Becky too. It was so good to sit down and chat with her... reminiscing about our trip and comparing notes. Our daughters are very similar developmentally and have many of the same mannerisms. You can't even distinguish their cries... it's so bizarre!!
Stay tuned for "Part 2" of Hannah and Lilli's reunion tomorrow...
Have a wonderful Monday y'all! ((hugs))
His,
Jen
