Today, I am thankful for a little, red, antique rocking horse... that I call "Ol' Red". By the way, I use the word antique loosely, as it was first used by my older brother and he is 45 years young. Ol' Red is old though... & they don't make em' like this anymore!

I think this rocking horse went through the whole family... my older brother, 2 older sisters, me and then each grandchild... finally, it's Lilli's turn on Ol' Red - and she adores it! Last night, she played on it for a whole hour, and then some!!! Lilli would get on & make a wooo-hooo noise, rocking forward & backward until the Ol' Red looked like it was going to tip over.... which it did several times, but being so close to the ground, Lilli didn't get hurt, just giggled and got back on!!Hope everyone has a blessed Thankful Thursday... What are you "thankful" for today?

Hey Jenny and Danny,
Lillie is adorable! I wasn't sure if you got my e-mail a few weeks ago. I responded to your e-mail about us getting together and suggested we could possibly do something on a Sunday afternoon. Let us know if this sounds good to you and we can come up with some dates. Take care!
God Bless

What a great toy! There is something so touching about her being able to enjoy a piece of history that has been loved by so many members of your family.
I am thankful for my dear family and my beautiful Cola Bear who is 13 today! :)
Love ya,
S
What stories that horse could tell. What a great tradition to be able to pass onto Lily and someday her children.
