My best friend Martha had a baby girl on Wednesday of last week... and unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts and Lilli's emergency room visit, I was unable to meet Miss Lydia Jane until this weekend.
Y'all, she is absolutely the sweetest little sack of sugar... soooo beautiful and soooo dainty!!
Danny stayed at home with Lilli while I ran over for a quick visit. We are going to wait for a few weeks before Lilli meets Lydia. Lilli needs to learn to be a little more gentle before we introduce the two of them. We've been practicing daily on the cat and Lilli's babydolls!! She's heard all about Lydia Jane and can even say her name...Bay-eee Leeeeeeee-yah (Baby Lydia)! Lilli's full with anticipation that she'll finally get to meet her... hopefully, in the not so distant future!
Congratulations again, Martha, James and big brother Samuel... We love y'all and couldn't be happier for you!
