Yep! You read the title of the post correctly... Lilli tripped and fell forward yesterday at school. She obviously didn't fall far... she's only 2-1/2 feet tall. :o) She caught herself with both hands, but when she came up, she wouldn't move one of her arms. She didn't fuss, she didn't cry... just favored one arm over the other. When the daycare called me and told me what happened, I thought it would be best to watch her for a little while and see if the movement got any better. It didn't and she got fussier as the day progressed.
I called Lilli's doctor & he met us at the Emergency Room (thanks Dr. Agsten) and all worked out well! Lilli does NOT have a broken arm. Her arm was jammed and her elbow possibly dislocated. Lilli would not move it for me and screamed when I would try to move it or even touch it. Apparently, while the technician manipulated it around for x-rays it corrected itself. A hospital trip was an expensive way to fix the problem, but… Lilli's okay and that’s all that matters.... & for that, I am TRULY THANKFUL!!
As we were leaving the hospital, she even blew kisses to the nurses and Dr. Agsten... with the arm she refused to move earlier in the evening, no doubt! I promise you, she’s fine now... Lilli went back to school this morning!! :o)
Today, I am also thankful for the birth of my best friend's daughter - Lydia Jane. Miss Lydia came into this world yesterday morning, weighing 7lbs., 14oz... & was 21 inches long! She's BEAUTIFUL and looks like a perfect combination of her Mommy & Daddy! I am so happy for my dear friends... & absolutely can't wait to meet this precious child of God! Martha, James & Samuel... CONGRATULATIONS!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday. What are you thankful for today?

So glad to hear that she is ok and didn't break her arm. She was so brave and I loved the picture of her with the teddy bear. She sounded so brave.
God watches over all our precious daughters.
Love
Renee
