Scenes from a loooong and thankful weekend!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope y'all did too!! We spent most of Thanksgiving Day at my parent's house. My sister Amy was visiting with her kids Kyle, Jack & Ella. Lilli loved spending time with them... especially Ella. Although they left yesterday, she's still asking me for Ella. Now she'll say "Ella home."

Then on Thursday night, we headed over to Danny's Grandma's for Thanksgiving dinner. We were too full from my parents to eat, so we just had dessert. I wish I had remembered to carry my camera over, but forgot. Lilli endlessly played "Ring-Around the Rosie" with her cousin's Mary and Norma. She loves this game and apparently, they play it alot at school, because she sings "ashes, ashes" at home all the time. I finally figured out that this was what she was singing on Wednesday evening and now, it's all she wants to do... BELIEVE ME! She'll wake up in the morning singing "ashes, ashes... ashes, ashes... down!"
On Friday, my sister Susan and brother-in-law Jay came in... We decided we needed to do something a little different for dinner, so I helped Mom with the turkey tetrazinni! It was delicious, if I say so myself! Lilli is all about Uncle Jay. He quickly won her heart!!!
On Saturday evening, our nieces Liesel and Lainey returned from Disney World, so we celebrated yet again. They have been gone the whole week... Liesel even celebrated her birthday while vacationing down there. (Liesel's in the royal blue shirt in these pictures) Happy Brithday Liesel! My niece Erica turned 17 in Florida too... Happy Birthday Erica!
Then, something dreadful happened! I dropped my camera!!! You should hear the lens trying to come in and out now! It's pitiful!! I've asked Danny for a new camera for Christmas, so I only hope that it'll hold out for a few more weeks. If not, I'll be getting an early Christmas gift... I am the "Queen of Photos"!! My camera is truly an extention of my arm.... I feel incomplete without it!
On Sunday night, we headed over to my brother and sister-in-laws house for a 4th family dinner. It was delicious as always! Michele's grandparent's, Grandma and Grandpa Stewart were visiting from New York state. We always enjoy seeing them. It was a big family meal with Aaron and Erica (Michele's children) Erica's boyfriend, John, Michele, Grandma & Grandpa Stewart, my Mom and Dad... and of course our little family of 3. I only wish I had carried my camera... I didn't get any pictures of Grandma and Grandpa Stewart with Lilli. :o(
Hope everyone has a fantastic Monday!
